Björn released his first single as part of the Swedish group "Hootenanny Singers" and has been releasing singles and albums with them on and off until the early 1970s. In the U.S.A. they've released some songs as "The Northern Lights".
Together with Benny Andersson he released the album "Lycka". Together they were also involved in the musicals "Chess", "Kristina Från Duvemåla" and "Mamma Mia!" as well as writing material for "Gemini" and "Josefin Nilsson".
