ABBA was formed in the early 1970's when the four artists Anni-Frid "Frida" Lyngstad, Benny Andersson, Björn Ulvaeus and Agnetha Fältskog joined forces.
Their first single "People Need Love" was released in 1972. ABBA was active as a group until the end of 1982 when their last original output, the single "Under Attack", was released.
